What the name means

Tiny
Start small. A small first batch, a small ad budget, test before you scale. Never burn your savings on a big first order.
Launch
From an idea to your first sales.
Machine
A repeatable system, not luck.

The route · zero to one

Eleven stops from idea to first sales.

We start with the product, not the ads. Most new brands struggle before they sell a single unit, and rarely because of poor marketing. The wrong product gets chosen, the wrong factory gets picked, or the numbers never worked.

Proof · Travel Likes Me

Most people who teach launching have studied it. We have done it.

At Travel Likes Me we took products from a blank page to a first order and then to scale, several times over.

We chose the product, designed it with partners in the UK, India and Japan, sourced it from factories in India, China and Vietnam, then listed, launched and scaled it. Then we did it again with the next one. Some launches worked. Some cost us a lot of money. Both taught us more than any course could.

The honest part

It was not a straight line. We burned our hands and lost a lot of money along the way. That is exactly why we are profitable today, and why we can help you avoid the mistakes that cost us.

How we work

Research first. Stock, listings and ads after.

  1. Research the product: demand, competition, margins.
  2. Finalise the product: design, specs and price point.
  3. Source and sample: the right factory, the right price, the right quality.
  4. Launch: Amazon, your own Shopify store and your first ads.
  5. Scale and export: more marketplaces, more countries, with profit in mind.

Founder questions

What founders ask me.

Something else on your mind? Send me a query →

How much money do I need to start a D2C brand?

It depends on what you want to build, and it's very subjective. That's one of the first things we work out together.

Do you take equity or charge a fee?

Both. We normally take a small upfront fee, to see that you're serious about the work, and equity, so we're in the game with you.

Can you help if I only have an idea?

Yes. That is exactly where we start: is there real demand, who are the competitors, do the margins work, and what should the product be? We'll tell you honestly if it is not ready yet.

Do you really travel to China with me?

Yes. Where it makes sense, we can travel with you to the factory. We have travelled to more than 25 countries and worked with factories in India, China and Vietnam.

How long until my first sale?

3 to 6 months, and I can break it down for you on a call.

About KK

I'm Kaushal Sharma.

Founder & CEO, Travel Likes Me and Tiny Launch Machine

I have taken products from zero to one several times. Each time it meant choosing the product, finding the right factory, getting the design and price right, and then selling it on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and our own store. I have lost real money on the way, and I now know what to do first, what to skip, and which mistakes to avoid.

I have worked with factories in India, China and Vietnam and with designers in the UK, India and Japan, and travelled to more than 25 countries. Travel Likes Me now sells in India and exports to the USA, profitably.

I started Tiny Launch Machine so that founders can skip the costly part of the learning. I'll tell you honestly whether your idea is ready, and then help you launch it properly.
